Updated the case study with the completed code and security review: 11 resolved CodeQL
findings, 522 automated tests and seven recovery scenarios. Documented the
PostgreSQL-only runtime, dependency checks and release gates, with links to the
published verification record and the first successful security maintenance run.
Refreshed the Codex activity snapshot through 3 November: 728 recorded turns across 48
active days, using the same selected workspaces and counting rules. The final day is
partial. The calendar and daily totals remain inside the expandable snapshot.
Brought the existing SadaPay and Authority Brands cases onto the homepage and added
three direct question previews. Linked discussion topics to their answers and added
focused links within the HPB and container-platform cases. The hero keeps the
engineering directory entry and a compact Changelog link. Changelog is also available
in the footer. Follow-up headings now leave room for the fixed contents menu on narrow
screens.
Replaced the homepage statistics service with a Cloudflare Workers and D1 counter for
homepage views and distinct browsers. Requests run after page load, stop after four
seconds, and retain previously received counts with a timestamp during outages. Local
testing uses a separate database. Public totals start from 26 October 2026; repeat
visits increase views without adding another browser.
Traffic statistics now load after the homepage is ready. If the counting service is
slow or unavailable, the footer keeps its labels and shows an availability status
instead of disappearing. Requests have a timeout and do not retry automatically.
Added the Terraform certificate and official badge to one card, with a public Credly
verification link. The four-card gallery uses two columns on desktop, with small
previews and separate full-size certificate images.
Added a compact footer counter for homepage views and visitors. Counting is enabled
only on the public homepage; local previews show the layout without recording visits.
Browse updates by month or select a day in the compact heatmap. Lists show eight
entries per page, while existing direct links still open the right update.
Added a dedicated image gallery, linked from the homepage. Compressed previews and
on-demand larger images keep the homepage free of gallery image downloads. The gallery
uses a responsive layout without a JavaScript dependency.
Added a concise Nimble entry to the enterprise experience directory, covering AWS
CodePipeline work during a short Thoughtworks engagement. The directory now contains
nine engagements in chronological order.
Added concrete HPB examples of Helm deployment reuse and client-provided
image-scanning scripts. A separate design answer explains shared deployment logic,
environment inputs and GitLab CI/CD variables, with its proposed scope distinguished
from project implementation.
Expanded the HPB case with runner preparation, script decomposition, the SIT delivery
sequence and separate builds by environment, supported by readable diagrams. Renamed
the homepage topic section to Technical deep dives and separated the HPB engineering
judgment discussion from the technical walkthrough. Both pages include further
questions to develop and link back to the wider project experience.
Added a directory for project questions and answers, with a prominent homepage entry
beside Changelog. The new China Merchants Bank discussion covers fixed application
network identities, controlled host replacement, and VM and container coexistence.
Both it and the existing Story Filler discussion link back to the directory.
The homepage now presents Health Promotion Board, China Merchants Bank, Daimler and
ICBC in a two-column grid, with all eight engagements retained in the chronological
directory. Case summaries bring key decisions and results forward. The main navigation
leads to Experience, and Projects & research groups the recent engineering
studies. The China Merchants Bank case now names business analysis for operations
systems explicitly in its responsibilities and phase summaries.
Restored the View changelog button beside the homepage introduction. Enterprise
experience remains the first content section, directly below the introduction.
Added Shenzhen Rural Commercial Bank to the enterprise directory, with a compact case
covering two operational inspections, CMS advice and operations guidance.
Added a Zhuhai ICBC consulting case centred on client pain points, technical options
and recommendations. Covers delivery measures, database versioning across parallel
releases and traffic-switching choices, with a new database-change diagram and entries
on the homepage and experience directory.
Added a Daimler AG case covering the gopass-to-Vault migration, GoCD Pipeline-as-Code,
OpenShift delivery and operational handover. Included a delivery workflow diagram and
added the engagement to the homepage and experience directory.
Updated five enterprise cases to place selected technical examples within their
broader roles. Added CMB’s delivery guidance and coordination responsibilities,
clarified when its operations systems business analysis work began, and brought
SadaPay’s Terraform and GitOps work forward. Condensed gateway configuration context,
clarified HPB’s colleague guidance and Vault backup work, and refined the Authority
Brands and Costa introductions. Updated the homepage and experience directory to
match.
Clarified that the homepage and experience directory present selected responsibilities
and contributions drawn from retained project records. Moved the homepage explanation
above the carousel controls and separated it from the directory's opening
introduction. Restored the homepage sorting label beside the carousel controls.
Moved Enterprise experience directly below the homepage introduction and linked the
main button to it. Codex activity figures, the calendar and methodology now open on
request, while the verification link stays visible. The existing snapshot dates and
counts are unchanged. Clarified the CMB case's distinction between the bank's platform
operations and my consulting support for its development team.
Published two case studies: Authority Brands covers Terraform module refactoring and
SRE platform work; Costa covers a developed monitoring and alerting system. Added both
to the chronological experience directory, with an alert-flow diagram and responsive
case navigation. Enterprise project titles now link directly to their cases on the
homepage and directory, replacing separate reading links. Entries follow reverse
chronological order by participation end date. The homepage now includes all five
enterprise projects in a horizontal carousel, with dates, arrow buttons and keyboard
navigation matching Selected writing.
Added a China Merchants Bank case covering platform design, application addressing,
mixed VM/container delivery and monitoring workflows across four project phases. Added
the case to the homepage and enterprise-experience directory, with responsive phase
navigation on the detail page.
Updated the article introduction to cover engineering practice and architecture topics
across projects. Simplified the Health Promotion Board case's script-rebuild and
Terraform knowledge-sharing descriptions.
Refined case studies and technical designs to lead with contributions, decisions and
results. Consolidated verification and research methods into focused explanations. The
AWS recovery design now returns to the homepage’s Technical designs section.
Simplified activity descriptions while preserving the recorded counts and dates.
Added a Technical designs section after Enterprise experience, starting with the AWS
cross-Region recovery study. Moved Codex activity below Selected writing, immediately
before About, and made case-study and article counts explicit. Updated the SadaPay
design link description to present the author’s own thinking and its project context.
Activity data is unchanged.
Added an illustrative warm standby design with EKS, ALB and RDS PostgreSQL, responsive
architecture diagrams, recovery goals, component responsibilities, failover checks and
controlled failback. Added a short Terraform DR-module responsibility to the SadaPay
case and linked the independent design study, which sets out recovery goals and
validation checks for the proposed architecture.
Focused the case on GitOps delivery, AWS/EKS support, Terraform provisioning and
service-networking context. Removed the peripheral investigation section and its
diagram styles, and aligned the navigation, homepage and experience-directory
summaries.
Brought the existing Argo CD and GitHub Actions delivery environment to the
foreground, added Istio and Gloo configuration context, and updated the homepage and
experience-directory summaries to match.
Added a chronological directory for enterprise engagements and shortened the homepage
entries into selected case cards. Case pages now link back to their directory entries
and use client names with work-scope subtitles. The directory includes the HPB and
SadaPay cases.
Added the SadaPay infrastructure case with an AWS/EKS role summary, existing delivery
tooling and gateway configuration context. Original configurations and private project
material remain outside the portfolio.
Corrected the HPB section title and diagram to show that external service requests
concerned migration setup and restricted operations. The team’s routine CI/CD ran
independently of that process, with deployment timing coordinated with the Product
Owner.
Rebalanced the case and homepage summary to show daily Azure/AKS support, developer
assistance and pipeline troubleshooting alongside the migration and CI/CD rebuild.
Added a clearer description of day-to-day platform and delivery work.
Condensed Terraform sessions into a short knowledge-sharing example and simplified
the case navigation.
Updated the enterprise case and its homepage entry to identify the client as Health
Promotion Board, Singapore. Internal project names, operational identifiers and source
materials remain omitted.
Refined the enterprise case to explain why most inherited scripts were rebuilt as more
general-purpose, reusable scripts during the move to GitLab CI/CD.
Added the author’s explanation of the script-restructuring decision.
Clarified the project participation period and implementation responsibility, and
shortened the retrospective notes.
Replaced the dependency cards with an abstract view of client execution and
scanning-service coordination paths.
Added an anonymised case about environment migration and CI/CD rebuilding for a
government health platform in Singapore.
Introduced an Enterprise experience section on the homepage with a dedicated case
page.
Connected the Azure/AKS migration and GitLab, Ansible, Vault and private-endpoint
work to colleague guidance, access dependencies and the completed migration.
Added an abstract responsibility diagram and a Terraform sandbox teaching example
covering configuration, state and plan review.
Added the 28 September Medium article to Selected writing. It follows a Story Filler
release from a blocking Trivy scan through dependency fixes and deployment
verification.
Refreshed the aggregate Codex activity snapshot using the same selected
software-project workspaces and counting rules.
The snapshot covers 5 September–11 October 2026: 461 recorded turns, 26 active days
and 37 calendar days. The final day is partial; ongoing turns remain excluded.
September and October calendars appear side by side when space permits, with a
stacked layout on narrow screens.
Published dates and aggregate counts show the frequency of recorded Codex work
cycles across selected software projects.
The portfolio now uses fonts already available on the reader’s device.
Replaced the two bundled typefaces with a shared system-font stack across page
headings, body text and controls. No font downloads or font CDN are required.
Removed the unused font files and their accompanying license documents from the
current tree. The earlier font-source record remains linked to its historical
revision.
Kept font settings together in the shared stylesheet and documented how to maintain
them without a build step.
Removed the retired template and unused assets from the current site tree.
Removed the obsolete Portfolio pages, example content, scripts and image assets,
along with tracked macOS metadata. Existing ignore rules prevent new metadata files
from being added.
Relocated the two fonts still used by the current design into assets/fonts, without
changing the font files. Added their copyright notices, source references and full
SIL Open Font License texts.
Removed unused styles for retired components and updated the maintenance file map.
The current project pages and published evidence remain in place.
Simplified repeated links while keeping project content and supporting evidence
accessible.
Combined duplicate case-study links in the homepage writing cards into one link in
the section introduction. Retained the third article’s specific engineering example.
Renamed the repository documentation link to make its GitHub destination clear and
presented it as a secondary reference below the project evidence links.
Grouped the hosting and slow-request questions’ source links into expandable lists.
Answers, follow-up questions, AI technical context and implementation scope remain
visible. The lists work without JavaScript.
A question-and-answer reflection connects the project's delivery constraints, hosting
choices and operating trade-offs to the retained implementation.
Added a compact, teal engineering judgment and inquiry button after the app and
source links, a more precise project summary, and a short reflection in the
Decisions section.
Distinguished section numbers from lettered subitems and explicitly labelled
delivery stages as steps.
Connected answers to source evidence and distinguished observed loading behaviour
from automatic retry capabilities.
Shortened repeated project and verification descriptions, focused the history
highlights on original commits and workflow runs, and retained migration details in
the expandable record. Corrected inline punctuation spacing and adjusted the
formatting rules to preserve it.
Added a compact, sticky contents menu on narrow screens, with the current section,
keyboard support and automatic closing after navigation. Desktop navigation is
unchanged; links remain available without JavaScript.
Refined the judgment and inquiry page with shorter context, direct question
navigation, clearer opening answers and separately labelled source-review notes.
Added hosting and slow-request challenges addressed to the author, with answers
consolidated after discussion. Integrated clarified reasoning into the answers and
retained separate technical context and implementation notes. The request discussion
covers timeout boundaries, repeated reads and delay diagnosis; training assumptions
remain distinct from measured results. Improved the reading hierarchy.
Standardised HTML, CSS and JavaScript formatting across the portfolio, corrected
punctuation spacing, and added style-section comments and a maintenance file map.
Documented how to preserve the author's voice in future questions and answers.
Updated the activity generator to produce readable, indented HTML and preserve the
surrounding page structure on repeat runs. The published activity snapshot and
counting rules are unchanged.
Both homepage project cards now pair the main case-study button with a matching text
link for supporting evidence. Delivery records and experiment results use consistent
wording and no arrow on the secondary link.
A calendar view of recorded AI-assisted work across selected local software-project
workspaces.
Added a daily activity heatmap with 303 recorded turns and 17 active days across
5–28 September 2026.
Included an expandable daily table, aggregate JSON download and the counting script.
Top-level turns are deduplicated across forked conversations; subagents are
excluded.
Labelled the view as a static, self-reported snapshot. The counts capture recorded
work cycles across planning, implementation, debugging and documentation.
Made the main reading path easier to follow while keeping the detailed engineering
records available.
Added a concise architecture, delivery and verification contribution summary at the
start of the Story Filler case study.
Made the detailed workflow statistics and migration release record expandable;
retained their numbers and evidence downloads.
Linked directly to existing Compose and Kubernetes configuration, replaced
inaccessible historical links with a public verification summary, and clarified the
scope of the local review.
Updated the case study to document the project’s migration to the public Story Filler
repository.
Adopted the Story Filler name and linked the application at /story-filler/ and its
public source repository.
